AI Training Opt Out is designed to collect less, because privacy software should not create another data trail.

What the extension stores

Completion status, guide version, and completion date are stored in Chrome local storage. They are not sent to us. The extension reads the active site's domain only after you open it, solely to match a supported guide.

What it does not collect

The extension does not collect page content, browsing history, cookies, credentials, form values, or the setting you select on another service.

Launch notifications

If you choose “Notify me at launch,” we collect the email address you submit and store it with our AppCity Studios newsletter records in Supabase. We use it only to send the requested product-launch update. You can unsubscribe or request deletion by emailing support@appcitystudios.com.

Payments

Optional Lifetime Pro payments are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. The extension never receives card details. ExtensionPay may provide the purchase email and paid status so Pro access can be restored on another Chrome installation.

Guide data

Packaged guide versions and change notes contain no user data. Scheduled remote monitoring is not included in the launch build.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

AI Training Opt Out's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deletion and support

Use “Clear local checklist” in the extension dashboard to remove completion records. For payment-record requests held by ExtensionPay or Stripe, email support@appcitystudios.com from the purchase email.
